ERIC cinematographer / editor
Eric Daft is an accomplished cinematographer and editor with a passion for filmmaking. Well-crafted compositions, capturing dramatic light, motion, and an eye for unique details are cornerstones of Eric’s cinematography.

In addition to creating many of his own films, Eric has filmed with production companies such as Teton Gravity Research, KGB productions, and was a principal cinematographer (and athlete), for the 2008 award-winning film “Freedom Riders”. Eric has filmed and edited large-scale commercial shoots for Columbia Sportswear, Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Alaska Backcountry Adventures, and Sierra at Lake Tahoe.

Eric is a talented editor, utilizing Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Color Finesse, and myriad other tools to deliver polished and edited-to-perfection pieces that will exceed your expectations. As a music connoisseur, Eric has a knack for editing to and selecting the perfect music, be it licensed commercial music or orchestrating original scores.

As an accomplished athlete, Eric has experience ranging from remote, month-long expeditions to Mount Logan, top-level competition as a downhill mountain bike racer, and climbing Big Walls in Zion. Whether on a remote climbing or skiing expedition, shooting from a Helicopter in Alaska, taking snowmobiles deep into the backcountry on assignment, or climbing the Grand Teton, Eric has the skills and experience to tackle the toughest filming assignments from local projects to those in remote and hostile environments.
